 Job Description:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Handle, prepare
and cook specialty meat products (gourmet handmade burgers, organic, made
fresh daily)
Prepare raw meat
Roll meat by hand
Grind meat
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Order supplies and equipment
Supervise kitchen staff and helper
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Manage kitchen operations

-Education: Completion of high school is required
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience as cook then a post-secondary certificate is required.
Experience in handling and preparing Halal meat is an asset.
Salary: $17.50 to $18.50 hourly, 40 Hours per week. Shifts from 11am - 6pm / 6pm -11pm (Monday to Thursday) and 11am -7pm / 7pm - 1am (Friday and Saturday). Position requires flexibility in scheduling- shifts. Work on weekends and overtime might be required.

One free meal per shift.
